@rsmaster16 The only thing I can think of that lets you do that is lots of practice ;)

Is there a way to just know all of them on the fly, someone told me there are rules that make it so simple you barley have to think about it.

Try telling this to my father who a “multi instrument jazz” player…
Whenever I try to tell him that for me its a million times easer for me to understand and learn chords by these rules all based on the regular major/minor scale he goes into that “thats not usefull for anything” mode.

Even the scales are easier for me to learn by the fullstep / halfstep instead of remembering all scales and their position.

Im glad I am not the only one finding these rules usefull :-D

@vxenon67 No. It’s 4 (notes)+3 for major, and the opposite for minor chords.

@RockThaLock Yeah, he definitely sounds canadian.

@amyboston2002 Because MOST people do NOT know how to teach or even explain things no matter how simple they are. There are tons of videos on how to do this or that but you’ll see that most are just useless because like I said most people can’t explain crap. That’s why I believe most piano teachers are useless. The same thing applies to them. I’m surprised how many people don’t know the formula for major and minor chords even though they can play the piano.Blame it on their teachers.
